The House
South African Heritage
Designed by a landscape, not a trend
The kopjes of the Highveld — granite pushed up through grass, weathered smooth on one side and raw on the other — are the reason our tables sit low and heavy. The dry riverbeds of the Karoo explain the pale, dusty tone of our concrete. The violet week in October when the Jacarandas open is why we could never work with anything else.
We source within South Africa wherever possible and work with independent makers and small workshops. Reclaimed timber, locally milled aggregate and hides tanned in the Cape mean the work carries its origin in the material itself.
