The House
Craftsmanship
Four hands, twenty-one days, one object that will outlive us.
01
The Mould
Every form begins as a hand-built mould, refined over several prototypes until the silhouette holds in shadow as well as in light.
02
The Pour
Fine-aggregate concrete is mixed in small batches and poured in a single continuous motion, then vibrated by hand to draw out the air.
03
The Cure
Twenty-one days under damp cloth. Nothing about this can be hurried; strength and colour arrive together, slowly.
04
The Finish
Surfaces are rubbed back by hand, edges softened, rims left honest. Pieces are sealed only where use demands it.
